Do Small Guys Matter?

We have been learning about the creatures that live in our environment. Each student from Room 20  has decided on the "small guy" they want to find out more about. We have been on a bug hunt and have been researching the types of environments our small guys like to live in. We decided that we don't have enough of the helpful creatures in our school environment so are looking at ways to encourage them to "move in". We are currently researching and designing a bug hotel and hope to build one to encourage more helpful small guys to relocate to our school. Watch this space!

What a Waste!

Room 20 have been looking at the amount of rubbish we bring to school in our lunchboxes. As part of our statistics unit, we had a look at our lunchboxes and then made tally charts and bar graphs of the results. We were quite horrified at how much rubbish we produce in just one day! We are trying hard to reduce the rubbish we bring, so please help us by providing"rubbish free lunches". Some children are already doing this and they are so proud of themselves.
